Could someone please explain to me what part of "Take it easy for a few days" would lead a man to believe that his doctor had given him the OK to go out and clean the swimming pool the day after a cardiac cath with stent placement.
I'm not sure I'm going to survive this. I really need a nap, but I do not dare go to sleep before he does.

Tell me about it. My husband had a clean cath in March... but he anatomically could not have the angeoseal placed... yet he still thought he could do it all the next day. I was so nervous... I kept thinking about how I was going to make my own sand bag to have on standby for the hematoma that was brewing under his shorts!
And he's still alive - so there's hope.
It is just as hard when they are young too. I have the worst time keeping Evan still and quiet after his caths. He was trying to run around like a mad man the next morning.
LOL at the sandbag comment. I can't believe he cleaned out the swimming pool a day after a cath.
Men are such dorks sometimes. Glad it was okay.
He didn't finish cleaning out the swimming pool. I used my best "bitch nurse" voice on him. It works just as well at home.
